The week at Indoor Friesland was off to a good start. Jeroen and Gisborn VDL won the 150 qualifier for the 3* Grand Prix. Gisborn VDL, a horse owned by Ariel Grange and ridden by Daniel Coyle, was in good hands this week. Two days later, Jeroen and Gisbon also won the 3* Grand prix!
At the beginning of the course, I felt that Gisborn still had a bit too much forward drive because I had ridden him quite fast in the jump-off earlier this week. But in the second part, he felt so good that I knew he was going to jump clear today.

Gisborn VDL will travel with Daniel to the Rolex Grand Slam in CHI Geneva in December, and Stal De Sjiem is doing their best to keep this special horse in top shape for this wonderful event.
We are very grateful to Ariel and Daniel for trusting us with this horse and allowing us to ride him. We look forward to seeing Daniel and Gisborn compete in Geneva!
Annelies also delivered an excellent performance and achieved a 3rd place with Kurly V/D Gorten in this 3* Grand Prix! Thank you, Team Stal De Sjiem, for always taking the best care of our horses!
